I am a keen writer and have had my work published in a range of places. I started off writing about science policy and research, with a particular interest in physics and astronomy, but have recently begun writing about politics and public policy, too.
For some examples of things that I have written about politics and society, click here. There’s not a lot here at the moment, I’m afraid, but I’m writing furiously and hope to have more to show you soon. Keep an eye on my blog, too, if this sort of thing interests you.
For a slightly more impressive list of things that I’ve written about science, click here. I don’t write much in the way of science news articles any more, but I do periodically write feature articles and analysis pieces about science and science policy.
I also write from time to time about other things that interest me. Which is a pretty broad field, to be honest. But sometimes I get so excited about something that I just have to tell everyone about it. Click here to see what I’m talking – or, rather, writing – about.
I keep meaning to try my hand at fiction writing, too, but that’s quite a big undertaking and I haven’t got around to it yet. I suspect I’m not the only writer in this position. But I do have a few ideas that I’m mulling over, so perhaps I’ll pluck up the courage to give it a try soon.
